ولو ان اهل القرى امنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والارض ولاكن كذبوا فاخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون ٩٦
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَـٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبُوا۟ فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ ٩٦
وَلَوۡﱁ
أَنَّﱂ
أَهۡلَﱃ
ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓﱄ
ءَامَنُواْﱅ
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْﱆ
لَفَتَحۡنَاﱇ
عَلَيۡهِمﱈ
بَرَكَٰتٖﱉ
مِّنَﱊ
ٱلسَّمَآءِﱋ
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِﱌ
وَلَٰكِنﱍ
كَذَّبُواْﱎ
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُمﱏ
بِمَاﱐ
كَانُواْﱑ
يَكۡسِبُونَﱒ
٩٦ﱓ
Had the people of those societies been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have overwhelmed them with blessings from heaven and earth. But they disbelieved, so We seized them for what they used to commit.

Na lau watu wa miji waliwaamini Mitume wao wakawafuata na kujiepusha na aliyoyakataza Mwenyezi Mungu, Angaliwafungulia Mwenyezi Mungu milango ya heri kwa kila njia. Lakini wao walikanusha, Mwenyezi Mungu Akawatesa kwa adhabu yenye kuangamiza kwa sababu ya ukafiri wao na maasia yao.
